ABOUT

Emilia Kohut is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk (Poland), where she specialised at the Faculty of Industrial Design. Already during her studies, she discovered her passion for jewellery techniques, and amber became a source of inspiration and a medium for her self-expression. Born and raised in Gdynia, Emilia continues her creative journey there, running her own studio where ION - her current brand - was created.

Jewellery — Timeless Amulet

For Emilia, jewellery is not just a decoration. It is an art form that has survived the centuries, evolving with humanity. Emilia approaches the process of creation with great respect, being aware of its timeless nature and the power it carries. Thanks to jewellery, we can express ourselves, store memories and carry a piece of the past with us. It is this ambiguity of jewellery and its magnetism that prompted the artist to devote many years of her life to it.

All our creations come to life in a workshop nestled in the heart of modernist Gdynia — right on the shores of the Baltic Sea.
